Wow — thanks for tapping in.
I’m Kevin. Kevin Isaiah Goshorn, to be exact.
Isaiah’s Eye is the product of a vision that’s been quietly forming for years and is only now sharpening into focus. It’s a space for me to learn, practice, and follow the instincts – that once guided me on the field – to tell visual stories about the world around me.
It would be easy to say my journey as a photographer began when I bought my first camera in the summer of 2023, but that wouldn’t be the truth. Looking back, the signs were always there.
There was that middle school photography class where I learned, and quickly forgot, how to develop film in a darkroom. Then came the high school Projects Week where I produced an Office-style mockumentary about a hooper’s rise and fall — a story that feels almost prophetic now in today’s NIL era.
And, of course, there’s the cinephile in me who keeps Heath Ledger’s Joker slow-clapping as a computer background, not only because of the performance but because the composition and lighting made the moment unforgettable.
At the time, none of it felt like the start of anything. But now it’s clear that those moments weren’t just classes, school projects, or movie obsessions. They were early invitations to see the world through a lens — invitations I’m finally answering.
Now I invite you to see the world through my lens. Join me as I walk with my camera, catching light, shadows, smiles, flinch-fast movement, and quiet solitude. When you browse Isaiah’s Eye, you’ll find images that aren’t always polished, but they feel alive. Honest. A bit rough around the edges. Like life should be.
